2 x 2 button double breasted notch collar suit jacket, cut in "sharkskin" polysuiting and silk lining. The Sammy Blazer is an incredibly elegant double breasted blazer. Probably the most noticeable feature of the blazer is the notch lapel and vertically oriented welt pockets. Typically double breasted blazers feature a peak lapel and flap double-welted pockets, which give the jacket a more traditional look, but our notch collar and vertical single-welt pocket are a more modern and slightly more edgy take on the original British design. The body is a classic length, but does not have front or back darts, giving the jacket a sleeker overall look; the Sammy relies instead on the engineered front and subtle side seam curve to create the attractive "tailored" waist the silhouette is known for. This gives the jacket a slightly less "stuffy" look that makes it more versatile for occasions that aren't overly formal, while maintaining the the flattering shoulders and "slimming" waist that double breasted jackets are favored for.
