Miracles DO happen…

With all the craziness going on in the news right now, it’s great to hear a story about crisis being averted.  This’ll probably make you pay more attention when they’re showing that ridiculous pre-flight movie.  Good thing we know it’s not just a nice theory anymore.

I can’t help but feel a little jealous of the people who got to ride down those huge slides.  That would’ve made for some sweet dinner table conversation.  “Honey, what did you do today?” “Well, my jet made an emergency crashlanding in the ocean after hitting one bird–which makes absolutely no sense.  But I finally got to ride that damn slide.  It was sweet.”

On a more serious note it’s really wonderful to know there are responsible people like the captain of that plane who take their job seriously and selflessly.  Thank God that instead of reading about a catastrophe, we’re cheering over what people are calling a miracle.  Read the story here.
